Product Description

Drifter Waterproof adventure boots, manufactured with the traditional ‘Ideal’ construction, which features double seam and an intermediate insole to increase sturdiness. Made of full-grain leather with T-DRY waterproof membrane, for use in all conditions, vintage-effect pull-up finish and microfiber inserts. The reinforced polyurethane inserts on the shin, ankle, toe and heel, as well as the protection on the gear area, guarantee maximum safety. In the inner area, the boots are equipped with a suede protection against the heat of the motorcycle. To enhance comfort and flexibility of fit, the boots have been equipped with microfiber front and rear bellows. The closure system consists of three aluminum levers – wear-resistant, interchangeable and ergonomically designed – which facilitate the fastening and unfastening of the boots. The sole with tessellated tread is designed to ensure maximum grip on all surfaces, for use ranging from asphalt to dirt roads. They feature insoles with OrthoLite® technology that perfectly cushions all movements and offers high levels of breathability.

The Ideal Stitching technique is a handcrafted process of constructing TCX motorcycle footwear that ensures comfort, strength and durability – even with prolonged use and in adverse weather conditions – rendering the sole waterproof and insulating. The leather upper is prepared with open outer edges that are glued to the midsole for maximum grip, then pressed onto a dedicated midsole and double-stitched around the entire perimeter of the boot using a traditional construction technique. The yarn used – either nylon or synthetic material – undergoes immersion in a specially designed boiler filled with molten tar to ensure that the yarn and the holes are completely waterproof. The result is high-quality footwear that stands out due to its prestige and durability.

OrthoLite® insoles were developed to ensure optimal comfort and maximum support for the sole of the foot, combined with maximum breathability in all conditions. OrthoLite® insoles offer: - Long-lasting cushioning, due to OrthoLite® polyurethane foam designed to provide consistent cushioning, fit and long-lasting comfort. Less than 5% of its thickness is compressed over the lifecycle of the insole, so its properties never change. - High breathability for perfect thermal comfort thanks to the OrthoLite® open-cell foam that allows air to circulate in and around the insole, driving moisture away and keeping the foot cool and dry.
