Product Description
The Dainese Scarabeo collection offers young skiers the technologies developed for World Cup athletes and used in international competition. All the safety of the professionals, to protect the champions of tomorrow. The SCARABEO R001 SLALOM JACKET provides young athletes with slalom protection, for maximum safety and freedom of movement between the poles. It is made of soft, breathable Carezza fabric, combined with elastic, anti-abrasion fabric inserts. The arms and shoulder blades are reinforced and covered with a protective layer of Memory Foam, able to absorb the force of the most violent impacts. The slalom jacket is designed to be used in combination with a Dainese Flexagon or Auxagon back protector. The R001 line was created to provide World Cup athletes with the most advanced technology in terms of performance, endurance and ergonomics. Maximum freedom of movement together with heightened safety, for the achievement of increasingly ambitious goals.

How to take measurements?
Chest
Chest circumference
The measurement of the chest in its maximum extension during normal breathing, measured with the person standing, passing the measuring tape horizontally around the torso over the scapula bones (the shoulder blades) and just under the armpits.
Waist
Waist circumference
The circumference measured horizontally around the waist, just above the highest point of each of the iliac crest bones, during normal breathing, on the person standing, with a relaxed abdomen.
Hip
Hip circumference
The measurement taken horizontally around the hips, at the most protruding part of the buttocks (the peak when viewed from the side), or the most protruding part of the hips if more pronounced than buttocks
Arm
Sleeve length from shoulder (arm straight)
The distance from the most protruding point of the shoulder to the wrist (on the end of the Ulna bone), measured with the arm relaxed at the person's side.
Knee circumference
Bike knee circumference
Starting from the center of the patella, measure 10 cm downward. From that point, measure the circumference of the calf, contracting the muscle. Then, starting from the center of the patella, measure 10 cm upward. From that point, measure the circumference of the thigh, contracting the muscle.
